Mission

It has a clear aim of highlighting business opportunities for British business in Russia and ensuring that after the UK leaves the European Union there is no attempt to stifle British business from winning lucrative business and exploring investment opportunities in Russia.

The magazine team

John Bonar, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief

Since the mid-1960’s John has been a reporter, editor and publisher. He has spent the last 25 years working with Russia including living there from 1995 through 2009. He visits Russia regularly and has particular interest in the regions beyond the Moscow Ring Road. From Arkhangelsk to Samara and from St Petersburg to Vladivostok he has travelled the vast country across its 11 time zones. While he was in Russia John served as the UK representative on the Board of national representatives of the Association of European Businesses in Russia.

He speaks, what he describes as “survival Russian” which was sufficient for him to live in a Moscow Region rural village where no one spoke English.
