Dr Cheng prepares to inject a patient with stem cells.
The administration of stem cell therapy is in the hands of a youthful looking Dr. Hongbin Cheng, M.D. of neurosurgery and associate professor at the hospital. He was one of the pioneers of stem cell clinical trials to treat diseases of the brain and spinal cord in the world. The hospital treats more than one hundred diseases and injuries but only after full medical records have been received in Beijing and reviewed by Dr. Cheng’s team. If they feel there is good possibility of successful treatment a patient can be admitted. In general one course of disease treatment lasts 10-15 days and involves 3 or 4 injections of stem cells. The cost ranges from $25,000 – 40,000 per treatment.
The hospital says, “As for sub-health High-end Health Care or Anti-aging treatment, the price could only be calculated according to personal physical conditions and demands after consulting experts based on completion of a detailed health questionnaire.”
John Bonar says, “I met with Dr Cheng in London and was impressed at how young this 41 year old looked. He explained that he had used stem cells on himself and the anti-aging effects were a result. The doctor comes from the Harbin area of northern China, not far from the border with Russia and we were able to converse in Russian. My company, Yes-to-Business Ltd has agreed to represent the stem cell centre and Dr. Cheng in Europe and Russia and the CIS.”
The marketing of the stem cell treatment by the Beijing hospitals is conducted by Bright & Direction,
The treatment for Cerebral Palsy, Spinal Cord Injury and brain trauma have been well documented by the Stem Cell Centre and before and after videos of patients are available.
